In Namibia, one in five of the adult population lives with the HIV virus.

The Ombetja Yehinga Organisation, commonly called OYO, was created for young Namibians  that were determined to fight against the HIV and AIDS pandemic. 

We use the creative arts to try and bring about a new generation of young people with the knowledge, beliefs, attitudes and behaviours that will make them capable of avoiding HIV infection and related social ills including: rape, domestic violence, alcohol and drug abuse and societal gender roles.
