The Ombetja Yehinga Organisation (OYO) and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) have teamed up to bring drama workshops to out-of-school youths in Okahandja.
Workshops will run daily from 9h00 to 17h00. Participants attending all the sessions will get a certificate at the end of the last workshop. Dramas prepared during the course of the workshops will be presented to the communities and schools during the last two days of the last workshop.
The workshops will be conducted over a period of 4 months on the following dates:
- 9 to 13 March 2009
- 20 to 24 April 2009
- 27 to 29 May 2009
- 23 to 28 July 2009
Workshops will be free of charge and open to any youth in Okahandja who is out-of-school, motivated, committed, wants to learn about drama and wants to make a difference in its community.
