Charles Ngaveriange Uarije is based in Opuwo, Kunene Region and works at the Kunene Regional Council as Regional Community Liaison officer. He is responsible for the coordination of Regional multi-sectoral HIV and AIDS programmes in Kunene since 2004.
Charles has also worked at the Ministry of Health and Social Services as Environmental Health Assistant from 1998 to 2004 where his job included promotion of water and sanitation, malaria control and control of communicable diseases.
Charles is managing local coordination structures and working with local communities a duty that is combined with his interest field of training, Environmental Health study completed in 1998. He is also currently furthering his studies, being a second year Bachelor of Public Administration student.
Charles is living in Opuwo with his family that included his three sons and when not working he likes training or playing soccer and reading various books.
